Lions are known for the fight against blindness and other projects associated with vision. This is just one of the projects we support.
We collect from over 40 locations throughout the Tendring District, not only unwanted spectacles but hearing aids, printer cartridges and mobile phones. Follow link for bin locations.

Following the receipt of a grant from Lions Multiple District Foundation for the UK, our Club topped up the grant and made four £300 donations last week, one to each of the Foodbanks covering Clacton, Harwich, Walton and Brightlingsea, incorporating three of the most deprived areas in the UK. Our Club has answered a recent request from Tendring Eldercare for help with funds for the aid they are giving to local people during the coronavirus crisis. A cheque for £250 was sent to them at the end of last week.
