All of the members and families of Clacton on Sea Lions Club wish everyone a Happy Christmas despite the current restrictions on our celebrations. We also fervently wish you all a much better New Year in 2021 even if we do have to wait to the second half before we get back to some sort
We have made further updates to the website including a special page on Sightsavers, the charity which has worked with Lions for nearly 50 years. Further to a post in October we have now topped up our donation to the Veteran’s/Frydays Breakfast Café to assist with their arrangements to provide Christmas Meals by a further £450. Here are the details of the project .
Clacton Lions are pleased to announce that they have made donations of £200 to each of the five Foodbanks operating in the Tendring District. That is Brightlingsea; Clacton on Sea; Harwich; Manningtree and Walton on the Naze. Each Foodbank is receiving £200 to assist with providing extra at Christmas.

Catching up with some of our recent donations. One of our members made a load of pasties to raise funds for Macmillan Cancer Support as we could not hold our usual coffee morning for them. These pasties were bought by members and friends and raised £150 which we topped up from Club funds to £200
