Following our February Meeting – virtual of course – we are making a total of £1,100 of new donations. £250 is going to our Lions Clubs International Foundation to provide aid following the massive earthquake in Croatia; £500 is going to Tendring Eldercare to help fund food parcels to those who are in need and
As January is Hunger Awareness Month, The Lions Club of Clacton on Sea has donated £200 of basic foodstuffs to FoodCycle Clacton. This charity is based at The Baptist Church in Pier Avenue, Clacton and provides three-course lunches every Monday to vulnerable and isolated guests. The Club is happy to be supporting the Charity at

We have made further updates to the website including a special page on Sightsavers, the charity which has worked with Lions for nearly 50 years. Further to a post in October we have now topped up our donation to the Veteran’s/Frydays Breakfast Café to assist with their arrangements to provide Christmas Meals by a further £450. Here are the details of the project .
Clacton Lions are pleased to announce that they have made donations of £200 to each of the five Foodbanks operating in the Tendring District. That is Brightlingsea; Clacton on Sea; Harwich; Manningtree and Walton on the Naze. Each Foodbank is receiving £200 to assist with providing extra at Christmas.
