Clacton Lions are pleased to announce that they have made donations of £200 to each of the five Foodbanks operating in the Tendring District. That is Brightlingsea; Clacton on Sea; Harwich; Manningtree and Walton on the Naze. Each Foodbank is receiving £200 to assist with providing extra at Christmas.
On Remembrance Sunday, our President, Lion Tony Rowntree, accompanied by a number of other members laid a poppy wreath at the Clacton War Memorial whilst over at Brightlingsea’s War Memorial, our 1st Vice President, Lion Alan Mercer also accompanied by a number of members laid another poppy wreath.
